Hi everyone, I really doubt I still have any more readers because it has been so long since I have posted anything, I apologize really please come back and read me!

My excuse this time is that I have been busy with finishing up school and moving down to Alabama and just spending time with J and meeting new people and having a nice time. I really do apologize! I hope everyone will come back and read me.

In the mean time I have now compiled my wedding blog and its over at blogger because it has more designs so I used it, so you can go visit it and read about the wedding plans although there is not much there right now. But I PROMISE to update more often on both blogs!

1. I watch Friends every night before I go to bed & I’ve seen them all atleast 6 times!

2. I sneeze when I eat too much and get full, I dont know if it’s an allergy or not, the only thing we can really attribute it to is being full. My grandfather and my mother do the same thing!

3. I have moved 5 times in my life. 4 of them within the last 9 years.

4. I always thought I wanted an outdoor wedding in the spring/summer; but once I found the person that I truly wanted to spend the rest of my life with none of that mattered anymore, it was just about getting to marry him!

5. Christmas is my favorite time of year so it’s fitting that I’m getting married December 20th!

6. I hate feet and even hate my own when my toenails arent painted!

7. I always wanted to be an interior designer when I was younger; I still try to do my best without the degree!

8. I cant keep a suprise a suprise I always come up with really great suprises but everyone who knows me always finds a way to get them out of me or I’ll just tell them because I cant keep it inside long enough!

9. I dont like to have finger nail polish on my fingernails (colored polish; natural colors are ok)

10. I have no problem with wanting to be “June Cleaver” I enjoy those types of things; but its kind of ironic that I have an above perfect score in my women’s studies class right now which is about how women shouldnt be thought of like that!

Well everyone it has been a very long time since I’ve posted and ALOT has happened since the last post which happened to be about me venting about hating the army for not allowing us to plan a wedding! Well guess what we got them back! We’re getting married in DECEMBER! Yeah thats right you read it we are getting married in 9 months! I’m so excited and have already gotten so much done! We decided to do this because we just could never tell when he would be home and when they would deploy him so we chose December 20th while he’s home on Christmas Exodus!

I have already booked the church, reception site, photographer, and catering. I have also ordered my dress which should be here on June 28th! I’m on the hunt for a bridesmaids dress that I like and our save the dates are being made as we speak, I’ve made cards for all my girls in the bridal party and mailed them off and should have their replies within a couple of days!  So basically all I can do for right now is done and all I have to do is wait till August to do other things!

I”m getting boudior pictures done for Jonathon for his wedding gift and I’m oober excited about these just gotta get tan and in shape first and find some cute things to wear! My photographer offered me this or a trash the dress session in exchange for engagemnet pictures which we cant have done obviously because he’s there and I”m here so our friend down there is going to take pictures for us when I go down there this summer!

In other news I’ve just been really busy with school and wedding stuff, my parents got a new puppy his name is Jake and he’s so cute! I’ll post a picture of him soon!

I’m going to make a wedding blog and will post the link on here when I have it set up! Any advice you married girls have for me would be great! Once again sorry I’ve been such a slacker!

See told yall I would have some downtime and here I am! I’m at work and have an hour left and I’m STARVIN LIKE MARVIN! So I thought I might write a blog to pass some time!

Shew girls I tell ya what I really HATE the Army right now! You cant plan for anything in advance with them! They originally told us that J would only be at Ft. Rucker until Feb. 09′ well guess what in the pure Army fashion they have changed it to sometime next year! They dont know how to schedule anything! J. didnt have to repeat a course that everyone including his roomate is having to do which is 3 weeks, you would think they would let J. go ahead and skip to his next 3 week course but NOOOOOO they are making him sit and wait and do funeral detail of all things! WTF?! I’m sorry but I have such deep respect for our military and veterans and such as, but dang it they should have let him go on and do his next class that is 3 weeks that he could be done with! But nope that 3 week class starts for him on April 15th, his last class ended March 1st! He’s been on hold basically a month and half what the crap!? Why cant they just put you straight through and get it over with? I mean if they think about it they would definately be saving themselves BOOKOOS of moola! He’s getting paid $4000 a month to sit there! Although I wont complain about that, it’s just the him sittin there doing nothing that makes me angry! He was sent down there to learn to fly not sit there! He’s plenty good at that here at home!

This is all stemming from my pent up frusteration that I cannot plan my wedding because I cant set a date until next year jeez everything will be gone by then, all the nice reception halls and photographers will be gone gone gone! So in my pursuit to snag some of the great ones early I’ve been contacting them by email and telling them the situation! This photographer I am in love with is VERY understanding! She said since she only does a certain number of weddings a year she would keep my date no matter when it was open for me! YAY! I may also go ahead and give her the $135 deposit just to keep her to that!

I went to visit with my mom’s family for easter weekend and got to tell them all about the engagement and I knew that if I sat with my aunt for awhile we’d have the entire wedding planned and guess what we did! We basically figured everything out! She’s going to make my cake and we’re all going to help out with the food, we’re going to have a pasta bar with spagetti, fetticini and then alfredo sauce, meatless and meat spagetti sauce then include chicken and shrimp for toppings! We will also possibly have bread and salad and cake will be the dessert! She thinks we can feed around 85 people with beverages (J has to have his beer or he wont be happy) for around $400! YAY aunt Judy saves the day!

I’m also going to make all my invitations, programs, and also make my jewlery and bridesmaids jewlery as a gift. I’m also going to since I have so much time apparently I’m going to make cards for everyone asking them to be in the bridal party (mostly just the girls the guys would look at me like I was crazy) so that will probably be my first project!

I have to go to David’s Bridal Saturday after I get off work to get fitted and order my dress for my best friend’s wedding so I’m gonna try on a few wedding dresses while I was there and if the one I’ve been eyeing turns out to look good on me (if no other dress I like better turns up) I’m probably just going to go ahead and buy it! So that will be exciting!

As I mentioned in the previous post I’m considering making a wedding blog to just tell about my process of achieving a wedding for UNDER $5000 (yeah wish me luck) as I know alot of brides want to keep their costs low so I thought I might be able to be some sort of inspiration and help? Is that a good idea?

Everyone has been asking me where I’m registered and well since I cant give them a date I havent registered yet but in place of full fledged registering I’ve started making wish lists on www.target.com and www.jcpenny.com so if anyone just feels the urge to go ahead and get me and engagement gift or something they can choose from something we want!

See now why I say I hate the Army? Look at all the fun I could be having right now if I had a date! I could actually find out a time to be able to have engagement pictures and all that fun stuff! But nope the Army has snatched that away for now! I’ll keep everyone updated and as soon as we set a date yall will be one of the first to know!

Whee only 30 minutes of work left and I can go home and eat!

Once again I’m sorry I suck so much at posting lately! I’ve been so busy with school its unreal so I’m trying to catch up and try and not plan a wedding since I really cant! DUMB ARMY! I swear I have some downtime this week so I’ll post a few times!

In other news Im considering starting a wedding blog but I’m not sure yet. I’ll let yall know if I do!

I’M ENGAGED I’M ENGAGED!

He asked me Friday March 14th at the Ft. Rucker Army Aviation museum! It was so sweet I totally was not expecting it! He had been kidding me all week about it and therefor hence the not expecting it part. I should have suspected something when his hands had been sweating the entire time we were walking around the museum. He took me to the area where I pinned on his officer rank in Feb. and got down on one knee and said all this really sweet stuff and I at first thought he was joking and smacked him on the shoulder and told him to get up! But he was like “No im’ not joking” and then said more sweet things and then asked me to marry him and I said “of course” YAY! Here are some pictures!

 Sorry I havent wrote in so long but school has come crashing down all around me since we only have 6 weeks in the semester left I’ll try to write more!

Ok so I wrote earlier in the week that I applied to be off on Saturday so I could leave a day early, well guess what I got it off, but now they are calling for a MAJOR winter storm here in KY,TN, and parts of AL! WTF!? It’s March people! Spring break means sun, sand and warm not freakin winter! SO this could potentially not only put me out of a day’s pay but prevent me from leaving until Sunday after all!

I have been praying that it doesnt happen at all, the last time they said something like this was going to happen the entire state freaked out and closed EVERYTHING and I do mean Everything down! AND wouldnt ya know I’ve seen worse ice in my refridgerator than I did on the roads that entire day! So Bill Meck I’m really praying you are WRONG WRONG WRONG! If I wake up in the morning to go to work and see 6 inches of snow on the ground I will curse the ground anyone who ever said they wanted it to snow tomorrow and Saturday!

*sigh* I really hate the weather, it always seems to ruin something for me! After working so hard to convince my parents to let me go and then paying a large amount of money to get my car ready for the trip THIS comes up! How freakin great is that?! Just my luck! In the words of Rachel Green from Friends “Isnt that just kick you in the crotch, spit on your neck fantastic?!”

Ok guys I’m sorry I’m done just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Pray for me and that there will NOT be a BLIZZARD or any bad weather for that matter for the next 3 days!

*side note: if there is bad weather I’ll be sure to take a picture of it to show you guys, you’ll probably hear me bawling all the way from where you loverly people are*

Good lord have mercy girls I swear my teachers ALWAYS know when I have a big trip coming up! I have so much stuff to do this week before I leave on HOPEFULLY Saturday if I can get off work! Everyone cross your fingers my boss can pull something out of his sleeve!

Lets see I got my 12 essay (Luckily not 16 like last time!) exam done just a few minutes ago and it’s turned in, now I just have to wait on the grade I got a 105 out of 100 points possible last time, so hopefully I do just the same this time! I have a perfect grade in that class right now! YAY ME!

I have to finish my 50 question communications midterm and decide on a topic for my informative speech, by the way what person in his right mind gives an exam over speeches!? Owell hopefully I’ll be able to pull my grade up in there because well it’s not as good as the other.

I have 2 chapters of study guides to do for my anatomy test on thursday and probably have things to do for the lab on Tuesday. Ugg this list is getting longer!

I have to get my FAFSA for financial aid done before I leave and gotta get a package returned tomorrow and hopefully my roomate’s boyfriend can fix my cigarette lighter so I can use my GPS (or else I’ll never get to AL without it I dont trust Mapquest to save my life!)

On a sadder note J. is getting sick, which makes me sad, he’s doing so well with classes though and he’s supposed to go to his “dunker” class tomorrow but if he’s sick he wont be able to do it because of the pressure it could mess him up pretty bad, so they’ll probably push that back and which will delay his last class before “contact” with the “little bird”

OH OH and to answer your question Megan, he’s not “commissioned” yet, he’s a Warrant Officer which is still an officer which take their orders from the El Presidente’ and all that jazz but they get “commissioned” once they reach Cheif Warrant Officer 2 which he should get by the time he comes home from flight school, in the next year or so! I hope that answers your question! I’m not real sure about it exactly maybe I’ll make him explain it to me again while I’m down there! Oh I got so excited though the other day I was on the phone with him when he was going through the gate and the woman who let him though said “goodmorning officer how are you today” I got so excited and giggly because that was the first time I’d ever heard anyone call him officer! LOL ok I’m definately rambling! I’ll stop now!

As you can see I’ll be pretty busy all week with school and work but I’ll keep writing leading up to my trip! Everyone keep your fingers crossed I get Saturday off!

Hey everyone I know that I havent wrote a new post in awhile now! I apologize I’ve just been uber busy with school they always swamp you right before spring break! I despize them for this and I’ve recently began to hate school, I really wish I was done but to my demise I am not! Shew!

Speaking of spring break! Only 8 days until I get to see my honey again! I’m so ecstatic its not even funny! I’m also excited because my parents who are highly over protective have finally realized that I am 21 years old and they need to let me go and grow up! I am getting married next year after all and so yeah they arent happy that I’ll be going all that way by myself but there isnt much they can do about it and I appreciate all the girls that gave me such great advice!

I think with this trip alone I will have LOTS of time to think about things and just relax which I havent had a chance to do in about 2 months! So it will be nice! I hope to bring back lots of pictures from my trip and I’m also on the hunt for a cute bikini I havent bought a new one in like 3 years so I think it’s time for a new one thank goodness for the VS mix and matches! I saw one on Le Petit Chic’s blog that is REALLY cute I wonder if she’d let me steal the idea!? The bandue top will be good for my small boobies! LOL! I hope to come back and say I’m engaged I’m engaged I’m engaged in true Monica Gellar fashion!

I will most likely post a few more times before I leave so this will not be my last post before SB 08′! I have been keeping up with you girls blogs so dont worry I havent forgotten about you all!

Well as I mentioned in my previous post I got my rings that I wanted (the square one) but what I did not anticipate was a sizing problem! Where I had ordered them off the internet without actually being able to see them in person I had no clue the diamonds wrapped all the way around the bands so there is no way I can resize them without damaging the ring and all the tiny diamonds falling out. So……

I got a new ring! I really wish I’d seen this one before! It’s gorgeous and I got a better deal on it than the first set! I’m so in love with it I swear I think it’s 10000xxxx better than the first set and I cannot wait to wear them!  J doesnt know that I already picked out and ordered another ring but he wont care as long as I get a full refund for the other set! The new ring should be here next week sometime I hope! I cant wait! I’ve been a giddy little girl all day and cant stop staring at it’s picture! EEP!
